![]() The base level it gives you is 120(the example in game gives you 123), but after tinkering, I knocked it down to 105. Rather than shift the Priority system a bunch, I decided to utilize the Point system from the Companion. These guys aren't QUITE regular starting runners though, they're more like.I guess you can say 'rookies?' Beginners is too noob for them(they ARE good), and they're definitely better than common street scum, but they're an example of maybe how one would assemble a team like this in SR3 rules(which didn't really have a lot of hard and fast rules for lower-or higher-level campaigns, we just kinda had to wing it.) So for my next bunch of posts, I figure I'd introduce in some runners from SR3 who are actually more like contacts with the main group(in my tabletop, and in any fiction.) (I also have some artwork getting done from a buddy who I commissioned!) (I had an old character page, but that was more for another thing.) The Technodrones, an Equal rated gang of Drone Riggers who have a sort of Battlebots thing goingĪnyway, I'll probably add to this from time to time if I come up with anything interesting for the Shadowrun world, or create some Shadowrun characters, or just talk more about Shadowrun. The Aesculapians, an Equal rated gang of actual medics and the like Nocturnal Sin, a Superior vigilante type of gang who are loosely based on the circles of Hell and the sins therein ![]() These are a little different than your typical gangs, as they tend to run a little more educated on average and maybe even a little more low/middle lifestyle, but I wanted to do something a little different than the typical gang. ![]() So generally speaking, we run with the typical Seattle and the stuff therein, but what's the fun in going 110% canon of course there are companies, businesses, corps, bars, dives, NPCs and gangs that are made up to flesh out the world in a personal way(depending on who is GMing, I have my own, my other friends have theirs, etc.) Here are some of the bits I currently use that's above and beyond the usual world:Ī few gangs(these are also on the blog they're written more cleanly in these google docs). Timelines being more around 2050-2060(our personal sorta favorite time, pre-Wireless.) I had mentioned in an old thread, we run with SR3(well, 1-3e sourcebooks, 3e rules for the most part, working on a conversion of 2e skills into 3e), but I could probably convert some characters into 4/5e if asked to do it thanks to Chummer. Now not everything that goes there will come here, but this is more just a place where I'll stick some actual in-game stuff(since the blog holds a lot of fiction and the like.) While I'm not saying my blogspot is popular(not too many comments), it at least gets around in the FGC circles, so that's fun. I felt like it wasn't getting anywhere, so I decided to shelve it some years back. ![]() ![]() I was originally on wordpress, but something was.meh with it. Decided to use this thread as a sort of repository for where I keep a bunch of my Shadowrun stuff.įor starters, I run a Shadowrun Blog here that I update fairly frequently(I try for once a week, but it of course depends on RL stuff, since I also keep a fighting game blog.) I had decided to move to Blogspot from Tumblr since Tumblr just was not very.reactive I think to word-like blogs. ![]()
